For the rest of the story, here's my traditional bio:
Stephanie Collins, founder of JumpSpark is a professional coach, consultant and speaker. She has spent over 17 years in the communications field as a coach, trainer, marketing specialist and organizational consultant. Stephanie has always been a coach, finding herself in a mentoring and advisory role during every step of her professional development. In 2004, she transitioned into working exclusively in the coaching arena, helping executives, fellow entrepreneurs, business owners and others with their career development, communications training, professional transitions and life-work-family balance issues. In 2008, Stephanie became one of 20 founding coaches for Compass, a company dedicated to the personal and professional development of women around the globe.
Stephanie helps professionals amplify their effectiveness while drawing on their innate skills and creativity. Her clients include leaders at IBM, Sun Microsystems, Sybase, and national education foundations, as well as small business owners and entrepreneurs. She has worked in training, development and organizational communications for various non-profit organizations and has been a speaker/workshop facilitator for the Orfalea Foundations, the National Parent Engagement Network, and numerous community groups.
Stephanie completed the coaching certification program through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and holds the designation bestowed on less than 10% of coaches worldwide: Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). She is certified member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF) and a cum laude Communication Studies graduate of Emerson College in Boston. In 2007, she became a registered user for Lego Serious Play and is also a licensed facilitator for the renowned workshop "How Much Joy Can You Stand".
A San Francisco native and world traveler, Stephanie resides near Boulder, Colorado with her husband, and two kids (high school and elementary school). She has a unique understanding and kinship with those who are facing the challenges and joys of integrating family-work-love relationships and personal life.
Unique fact: As a young adult, Stephanie spent a year traveling with the global leadership program, Up With People. Her worldwide friendships from this experience remain a key value in her life, and she is still apt to break out in song from time to time. Stephanie enjoys dancing, hiking with her dog, long talks with friends and exploring the world with her family.
